SALIM KATACH, ESQ.
As a patent attorney eligible for the USPTO Patent Bar, Salim Fouerte provides comprehensive intellectual property legal services throughout New York City. His IP practice includes patent applications, trademark registrations, copyright protection, and IP litigation. Salim's technical background makes him an ideal intellectual property attorney for technology companies and startups requiring both IP protection and strategic business counsel.
Salim obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in the field of Law and Entrepreneurship at Duke University School of Law. Salim has experience in Corporate Law, in particular issues arising throughout the stages of a start-up’s life, from formation until its acquisition— including securities, venture capital, and private equity transactions.
Salim is a member of the New York City Bar Association and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. He is fluent in English and proficient in Hebrew and Arabic.

As an executive in more than a dozen companies across industries such as imports, wholesale trade, and industrial manufacturing, he has been at the forefront of numerous business operations. This extensive experience has provided Salim with firsthand understanding of the complex legal issues that businesses often face. From regulatory compliance and contract negotiation to employment disputes and corporate governance, Salim has seen it all and successfully navigated the legal challenges that accompany business operations.
